A LETTER TO PEDRO ALSO CALLED PETE BY: RENE ESTRELLA AMPER

 

It’s sad to think that what was said in this poem is true, and is still happening in the Philippines. (rich becomes richer, poor becomes poorer, women are left to become whores.) 

 

But no matter what problems came to us filipinos, we remained happy despite the many problems we faced in life just like what  pedro's friend do. even there's a problem he still write a joke. i learned that filipino is easily move forward
